Maybe it's a sign of new found strength or healing, but I think I've found a religion that I can agree whole heartedly with.

well, lost

The dark days have ended,
new life I have found,
spring blossoms are blooming,
suddenly life's all around

the tunnel's behind me,
back there's where it stays,
loneliness and isolation,
the depression demons days

the hard climb completed,
now I'm at the top,
adventures ahead of me,
& no obstacles can stop

gone is the poisoned valley,
my pit of despair,
ahead I see forests,
and beaches - fresh air

I spent my time healing,
and growing in dark,
and found a missing heartbeat,
vitality and spark

from deep in the well,
the mist and slime,
emerged a strong man,
at last I'm all mine!!
